Prayer: Thank You, God, for this beautiful world You have given us – the day and the night, the sky with its sun, moon, and stars, the earth with its trees, plants, and animals, the waters with its fish. Thank You for all the people You have put in our lives. Let us be open to the words of love that You continually tell us through Your creation.
Intercessions:
Leader: Let us pray to God our Father who sent His Son to save mankind: SHOW US YOUR MERCY, LORD.
Leader: Father most merciful, we confess our faith in Your Christ with our words, – keep us from denying Him in our actions.
All: Show us Your mercy, Lord.
Leader: You have sent Your Son to rescue us, – remove every sorrow from the face of the earth and from our country.
All: Show us Your mercy, Lord.
Leader: Our land looks forward with delight to the approach of Your Son, – let it experience the fullness of Your joy.
All: Show us Your mercy, Lord.
Leader: Through Your mercy make us live holy and chaste lives in this world, – eagerly awaiting the blessed hope and coming of Christ in glory.
